In fall of 2009, Travis will be attending San Jose State University, majoring in Kinesiology.

Prior to SJSU, he attended Milpitas Christian School for K-8 and The Kings Academy (TKA) for high school.

In addition to his high grades and extracurricular activities, as an 8th grader at Milpitas Christian School, he entered an 8-12 grade science faire and placed 1st for a demonstration of a fully functional prototype of an electricity generator that used wave motion.  He was subsequently invited to compete in the Discovery Science National competition, but was unable to do so due to other commitments (one of which being that he wanted to attend the TKA football camp for incoming freshman.)
